My current mouse looks like the logitech one in the top pic, but without the sidescroll. That would be a nice feature to have though. Currently the side scroll/push of the scroll wheel of my mouse doesn't work in ableton apparently. Any thoughts? I'm also in the market for a reliable bluetooth mouse...

Of note, and I initially thought this too obvious to be the problem, there is no speaker/mute button in the upper right hand corner like the standalone version has.

The stand alone version works fine (windows 8.1)

How do you see which version of max you're using? I'm admittedly pretty unfamiliar when it comes to M4L.
