OK, there is no way I can wait till november for Live 8.

What I am trying to figure out is weather there a point to hold out on getting Live 8 at this juncture

I think battery takes too much CPU for essentially what is a drum rack.

Especially since I seperate all my drum tracks into different channels I would have to run like 6 instances of battery on every song... plus vst synths plus fx.

Is the addition of operator and sampler worth the upgrade?

I think those are the two I would use the most.
