So is this really because the Golden Master of Version 9 got delayed in the works?

Perhaps if Apple open up the iCloud API to developers after Lion is released; then the share feature of Live might return (with Live Sets being stored on iCloud servers) - I reckon the server overhead of hosting the Live Set files is what killed that feature in the first place.

That's the nice thing about upgrading relatively infrequently - you *really* notice the speed jumps and maybe appreciate more the extra horsepower that a new machine brings.

Sorry Ableton but I want to upgrade to a new Version 9 (which hopefully will include Max For Live), not the two-year old Version 8 with it's horrendous buggy reputation.

I haven't bought any CDs since a few years now - and also I've stopped producing any CDs since about four years or so.

All non-tangible (non-physical) digital domain now.
