oh man. I had not seen this.

It has been a long time since I laughed that hard!!!!

I had this problem as well, and just opening the fire control mixer and changing the sample rate to 48000 seemed to solve it. The sample rate control would change itself back to 44100 (to match the sample rate of live I guess), and then after a few seconds, the sound would be great!

i am happy with my 1000 but i still think this box is sick for two reasons, 1 like all the extra q sliders and two i like the idea of an in the box synth on an mpc, especially if it sounds good. Cats are entitled to their opinion, but I that piece sounds very good to me. I dig it, and I've never ow...

I played with the 5000 for about 30 minutes today. I think it's pretty cool. The synth on it sounds great and is highly tweakable. It's the only mpc that ever made me consider using an mpc.

I've tracked my own vocals using a 128 buffer on the duet, and it worked great—all on a lowly macbook too. So, you should be good with the duet on a mbp.

With the Trigger Finger you can back up your homemade presets and settings to an xml file. Is there a way to do this with the MPD 24?
