Live has got screwy timing. It's pretty simple. If I play something from Itunes alongside Ableton they drift. I have posted about this on the forums before. It's in arrange. i never use session view. No automation recording, too much messing around. I also like to work on structure from the outset, makes it quicker to finish tracks.
