Re: Midi map Looper's "drag me" button

A new button named "move to cliptrack" with automatic playback setting seems better and more usable.

Re: Backups for Live9 sets

I save every "bigger" change in a new version. I create the project 10_2013_brokenbeat_01.als and save the new version as 10_2013_brokenbeat_01_001.als and so on for example. Simple and works great. A "save new version.." menue entry would be handy though.

cheers

Re: free operator dubstep bass rack

Nice Feedback, whatta great track. Sounds like a heavy mod of the rack, very cool. This is soo much better then all the other creepy crack-dude-dubstep type.

Re: Kick Drum

To reproduce sounds like a kickdrum it is better to study the basics of such sounds. Listen to different sounds, try to split it into portions like attack-, sutain-, relase- sound. There is nothing magic, its just a question of how much you like to learn more about music stuff instead of just copyin...

Re: Live 9 suite very slow startup // windows 7

After removing the places folders and files.db , Live 9 starts in normal time. So i added my samples folder from a external drive (~400Gbyte) and my Live 8 Library and Project folder. Live 9 is slow (2-3 min) again after indexing places and reboot the os. Im sure the indexing engine will be overhaul...

Re: CPU 30% when the track is not playing?

I encountered similar issues with Live 9, the engine seems not 100% stable as Live8 was for me. With the IK Vintage Compressor there are some audible crackles just in Live 9. The whole application needs more power, the abes stated that Live 9 will be more CPU friendly, this seems not true at all. L...

Re: Make my voice lower/higher without transposing the audio

I cannot open the video here. But check ReaTune in Reaper. Its not avail as VST but you can edit it in Reaper and reimport to Live. Or try a octaver plugin with a second voice set to -3 or -5.
