and chop up and edit the clip before realizing the mistake, what's the best action to take?
1) render the whole final mix to 48/24 with no dither
2) render just the cut up 32bit clip to a single file and then render again offline to 24 bit. In this case DO YOU USE DITHER?
3) ?

Voicelive 2 processing stereo mix
How the heck? first of all the right line out of the Voicelive only accepts the 1/4" jack halfway, so I'm not getting any input from that side. Trying to run a vocal group submix through Voicelive 2 reverb and keep my panning from my individual grouped tracks. Second of all I don't see how to get a ...

Re: cannot do without a basic wave editor any longer; question

Adjusting the individual volumes in a audio file just seems like a lot of trouble, especially in Space Music where the notes...

cannot do without a basic wave editor any longer; question
I am trying to keep my files as pristine as possible, doing space music with a Virus Ti and a Kronos through a RME UFX, recording at 48/32. I am assuming it is a wise choice to keep neutral operations while editing. due to the realization that consolidate clips is a non-neutral operation I need a to...

Re: Push + Komplete Kontrol + Maschine Workflow
For just navigating Live , perhaps Push is overkill? Maybe an APC40 mk1. Save some money and learning curve.

My friend gave me an iPad 2. This app sounds great. Do I need an account with Apple with monthly fee to use it? Or can I just download the app to my laptop and transfer to the iPad?

focus between Maschine and Live requires mousing?
I don't remember having such a problem in the past. But when I am editing within Maschine, Live loses it's focus and alt+comm+P will not hide the plug-in window. Super-annoying. How are you working this? (Live 8, one monitor).

Re: Any Cello players here?
Cellos are beautiful, but dont forget the immediacy of playing it percussively. Bouncing the bow on a string (like a stick on a drumhead) while holding one note is instant pleasure!
