I had thought about trying to do tap tempo via the high-hat before, but I'd be curious to hear the monotonous high-hat work that would need to be performed in order to get that to work properly. There is a thread concerning this topic somewhere else on this forum, but the consensus seems to be - have 3 clips. It seemed to work. But for whatever reason the random overloads are back and I'm back to stressing out over them. GRRRRR :evil: have you ordered a real soundcard yet--get on it if not. I'm not the guy with the laptop or the guy with the internal sound card. I am on a desktop PC with an Echo Mia :)
