Don't forget you actually have to drag it to a spot in an arranger track in order to drop it. If you try dropping it just onto the arranger icon it won't work.

We're using a couple of cheap ones, one of which I wouldn't recommend - it's a Megavision 15". But I would recommend the inexpensive Sceptre X5 15" screen. Nice, bright and crisp. Plus it has a very minimal outside "frame" if you will... about 1" on all edges as opposed to s...

I had thought about trying to do tap tempo via the high-hat before, but I'd be curious to hear the monotonous high-hat work that would need to be performed in order to get that to work properly. If the drummer stops hitting those 1/4 notes even once, your tap tempo goes haywire! And they'd better no...

There is a thread concerning this topic somewhere else on this forum, but the consensus seems to be - have 3 clips. One loop in which the effect tails begin building, one loop that has the entire tails, and one loop to catch the isolated tails after the dry audio stops. It's kind of a workaround to ...

Re: ASIO4All

It seemed to work. But for whatever reason the random overloads are back and I'm back to stressing out over them. GRRRRR  have you ordered a real soundcard yet--get on it if not. I'm not the guy with the laptop or the guy with the internal sound card. I am on a desktop PC with an Echo Mia :)

I think we're gonna go with an Emu 1820... It's not firewire so it's no good for laptops but we have a lil Asus PC that fits in our rack box.

HTH, FWIW & RTFM :)

ASIO4All

I have been stressing out hardcore for 2 days now because our live set was refusing to behave... various combinations of HD and CPU overloads plagued my consciousness and would not let me relax. I figured "why not try this free ASIO driver they mentioned" It seemed to work. But for whateve...

Volta Kindred video clip

Hey, we have a new video clip. there's a link at http://beatzoid.com/voltakindred

It's from last halloween. We are using Live 3 and wearing costumes made with electroluminescent wire and powered thru a color organ which makes the outfits blink more-or-less with the music :)

Where's the update notes for 3.04?

What the heck has changed in 3.04? I don't want to waste time downloading it if it's just another PDF manual change or demo song 8O
