Re: M4L Building Tools Released!!
thanks for the link! You just put'em in racks, parallel/serial. Racks within racks whatever! I certainly can play around with theses for hours without getting bored. I suppose if you're downloading these just to use them as devices in your sets, they're not that handy, but the patches are invaluable...

One guy who's really full of info (he's an ethnomusicologist) is Royal Hartigan. You could probably use that as a jump
start to other things. http://www.royalhart.com

Thanks for backing me up Jeff! I've also re-installed it but it still crashes live for me.

Re: Kasio by Oli Larkin
Doesn't work for me at all. It crashes live when I try to load it. Everything up to date (live, m4l, the pack itself).
ADefaultWinsystemExceptionHandler::HandleStageOne.
win 7 64 bit with live 9.01 32 bit.

Re: m4L fragmentation after Live 9?
Plenty of m4l 5 devices that just crash live 9 with m4l 6 or just don't produce sound.

Re: Post your most obscure Ableton Live knowledge
Not really obscure but something I've used quite often. Let's say you drag a drumloop you like (amen for instance) but you want it slower without the effect of timestretching, you naturally set it to repitch but when doing so you can't use sample offset or tranposition clip envelopes. What I do is p...

Re: Live 9 News: Whats Awesome
quite happy with the new features but I'm especially happy to see M4L included in suite.
Even if I don't build from scratch, the already available devices from live or 3rd party is
well worth it.

Re: LIVE 9 : PDC IMPROVED OR NOT ?
Can you record (CooCooCaCha) the results on another audio track in realtime and compare? I've sort of done the same test like you but volume shaper seems to be showing the wave a bit late compared to what's
recorded on an audio track.

I guess you load in 4 effects in each corner and morph between them. Same with instruments.

As long as people enjoy playing instruments or singing, they will keep playing them.

Re: Windows 7 64 bit ? anyone recommend this ?
The only one I know is slim slow slider sidechain compressor. It's not just in Ableton but it doesn't work in other hosts as well. If you set ableton for compatibility with service pack 2 or 3 then it will work but it seems to use more cpu. That's why I tried the jbridge wrapper and it works. I trie...

Re: Windows 7 64 bit ? anyone recommend this ?
I'd suggest you switch to 64 bit win 7 instead. It's what's next anyway. Plenty of ram and it's great especially with a core i7! I'm not looking back. I only use 32 bits hosts and so far only 1 32 bit plugin didn't work. I used jbridge to make it work and it runs perfect. It's basically a wrapper to...
