Re: Kittens/cats and your studio - how to deal with them.
You know they despise you right? They've had their brains scanned, and just like dogs they know exactly whose voice they're hearing when you call them, but they genuinely don't give a shit. ahaha yup. But i am the supplier of food. The sole one. They HAVE to pretend to love me. And I am f...

Re: Linnstrument, Push 3 in advance?
Been eyeing this and the Seaboard as well as Madrona Labs' Soundplane for a while. Eventually I will go down one of those roads. Have you had the opportunity to try these out hands-on? Nope I have not. But I reckon I will enjoy the experience, being a guitar player foremost. I am sometimes slightly...

Re: Kittens/cats and your studio - how to deal with them.
I thought I liked cats because of their independence, their insane agility and acrobatic skill, their pleasing appearance and touch, and their general behaviour and companionship. If all this is only perceived because I'm infected, then I like them even more (or do I?) - not only are they the luckie...

Re: Kittens/cats and your studio - how to deal with them.
Sadly, I think your only option is to wait patiently until they grew up and don't find it that funny anymore to hang around you all the time. I got one very young cat earlier this year and haven't found any reliable solution to fight this devil. FFS!! he couldn't stop eating my toes and my cables w...

I've got one of those lying about yes. But I fear a single squirt will send these tiny fluffies flying. They're very light.
But I guess in a way they have become, on occasion, "dust" in the gear.

Re: Post your spring 2016 tracks.(Autumn for you Northerners)
A jam using percussive loops made in Zebra and then throwing them into Live's Simpler, playing the new slices, and seeing what happens. A Live rack is on FX automation duty. https://soundcloud.com/gaping_hole/club-rot-a-zebrasimpler-jam ahh the city bowl, woodstock. I have not been there in almost t...

Kittens/cats and your studio - how to deal with them.
I have two new kittens. I've always had cats since I was 9. I'm 37 now. But these two are something else - they follow me everywhere, so if I'm in the workroom, they are. Like lightning they jump onto my chair or lap, and then onto the gear (Push2 or APC40) and over them as if they're scaling a smal...

Push 2 - loading of clips (.alc)
I wonder why this has not been implemented yet. It would be very useful as I store hundreds of little loops as ideas/clips. Very often the loading of one into a set adds what was missing, or gives a totally fresh perspective on a piece. https://ableton.centercode.com/project/feedback/view.html?cap=1...

Push 2 - screen should display renamed Device name
It would be nice if you, for example, rename a Gate device to "Mids Gate", so that it also displays this new name - "Mids Gate" - on Push's display, instead of the default "Gate". I tend to rename lots of my devices, especially in parallel racks, so it's easier to keep ...
