I know Live has warp markers, but a friend was telling me that you could "slice" as well (recycle style)?

He said Ctrl + E would do it . . .but that's for renaming tracks.

I think he's on the crackpipe, or am I missing something? The manual didn't turn up anything about slicing.

Just verified and monitoring is on in Live . . .and works fine in Cubase in what seems to be the same midi-audio chain . . . maybe it's a bug?

Say I wanna use Battery in Live, how do take advantage of the multi out options that it has? I'm only seeing 1/2 and Battery is setup to use 8 stereo-o-o . .
