Re: U-he appreciation
Weird. Alchemy and trilian have nice arps, but you can't even do glides from one note to the next. I saw from several of your posts that you are a fellow Spectrasonics user :) I'm a huge fan of Omnisphere and just added Stylus RMX Expanded to the line up. It's simply amazing what you can do with it...

50 quid, and my time - not all that free
I did this once-- blew my fking mother board, but it was a blessing in disguise, now I have an i5 core, 8gb 64 bit w-7.
I would suggest running 64 bit os.

Re: U-he appreciation
I Think i will try ZEBRA, I do have a powerful cpu, i5 core intel , 3.2 ghz , 8gb ram.. that should be enough for Diva , right?
Thin, light percussive sounds and digital plucks are right up my alley, so I guess you all are happy with the arp in Zebra?

SO the consensus here is that Diva is preferable to Zebra? I need to decide soon!

Re: U-he appreciation
I can appreciate this. but I am on the fence about something. If you guys were to choose between ZEBRA2 and ALCHEMY, which on would you choose? And which trance gate would you choose, camel space or filterscape?

Filterscape or Diversion synth?
Has anyone had any experience on either of these synths, Filterscape or Diversion? . Filterscape appears more versatile?

Re: CPU Problem.
80 tracks? Wow, I can't get past 50 tracks without overwhelming CPU spikes, I have had to do all the above just to get by. Flatten, freeze, group... but yeah, with 64 bit you can access more ram double than 32 bit at only 4gb. Also perhaps you should try to "resample" tracks that have comp...

I would love be able to detach the session view or the arrangement view to my other screen and make it full screen, that would be neat..

Re: Guitar through ableton- anybody emulated a sitar before?
Cool thread, I have been studying Indian Classical Music for about 17 years. I am a student on the tabla. However never really got to the level I initially thought was possible, so I began my sojurn to electronic /world fusion, like Desert Dwellers, Karsh Kale, Midival Punditz to name a few. I thoug...
