Re: Mono Sequencer, automated transposing & being a step behind

Thanks all for the answers and I was nudging the note slightly though I discovered the culprit. For my default midi set up I have a bunch of Midi Effects that I commonly use (like Pitch, Scale, Chord). I have these grouped into a device and this is placed before any instruments. I recently added a s...

Mono Sequencer, automated transposing & being a step behind

Hello Been playing around with the Mono Sequencer and quite like what I see / hear :) I've programmed in a set simple transpositions in a clip going from B to G# which trigger on the 1st bar, 5th bar so the Mono follows the tracks chords. However, when each clip triggers it's 1 beat behind what it s...

Re: Arturia Analog Laboratory slowing down CPU

I tried the latest version but still can't select presets and it crashes more often than I'd like.

Gutted. Thanks for the heads up though.

Re: Arturia Analog Laboratory slowing down CPU

Hi there. Sorry to hijack your thread, but I'm wondering if you've managed to get Analog Lab / Laboratory working well in Live? I'm struggling to get the preset selection working and I can't assign the transport controls to Live or any other the other knobs and faders. Got any tips? Re: Memory - it ...

Re: Who thinks live 9 is a rip off? anyone else?

I'm not sure if it's a rip off... but I'm a little bit disappointed when I think of the total amount I've spent within Live. Live 7 > Live 8 Suite > Live 8 Suite + Max > Live 9 Suite Essentially the money I spent buying Max was wasted as this is now bundled with Live 9. Additionally, I'm not hugely ...

Re: Arturia 49 Analog Experience The Laboratory & Live - Help!!

Yeah, I'm not having much joy to be honest. I downloaded the new Lab VST but it suffers from bugs also, mainly crashing and the preset browser knobs not working. Really frustrating, looks like it might have to go back to the shop as it kinda useless. I could have saved myself a bit of cash and just ...

Arturia 49 Analog Experience The Laboratory & Live - Help!!

Hello I just recently got an Arturia 49 Analog Experience The Laboratory(!) and am trying to set it up to work in Live 9.0.3 but not having a huge amount of luck. The presets selection dials on the keyboard don't work at all (though they do in the standalone software) and I'd like to have the transp...

Re: Disappointed in the Sample Pack production standards

Hey Mike

I'm simply holding down a note and when it loops (in the sampler) there's a click... until it loops again... and then it clicks again. Adding a crossfade fixes the issue (blends the crossover).

Hope this makes sense.

Disappointed in the Sample Pack production standards

A few months back I made a post about a constant clicking I had with a one of the guitar instruments in Live 9. Specifically the >> Sounds > Guitar Clean > Guitar.adg Instrument. If I convert the Multisample Simpler back out to Sampler and then look at say F3 (one of the clicking culprits) I can see...

Re: Scroll Wheel Zoom - For the love of GOD! Please.............

And gestural scrolling (eg: two finger trackpad up & down) to zoom in & out.

The more I think about it, the more Live 9 was a massive dud of an upgrade (unless you get Push). Right now this software is lacking so many features which should be a given.

Meh.

To be honest, how much value can you deduce from a star rating? Utterly pointless IMHO.

Click Click Click

I'm getting some very strange behaviour with one of the Live Packs; Guitar & Bass to be specific. I'm using the Sounds > Guitar Clean > Guitar.adg Instrument and playing and holding an F chord (F1, F2 & F3) for 4 bars @ 117bpm. Now, there already seems to be some poor looping with this sampl...

Re: Best ways of reducing CPU load

Freezing tracks does help—it certainly reduces the CPU load— though I don't know by how much or even if substantially enough. For example, right now I have every track frozen and a Reverb & Saturator on a Return Track & Spectrum on the Master, however the CPU load is up in the 55% range. Thi...

…the LFO

It's fantastic. Previously I used Puremagnetik's 'el Effo' which was good but got itself a bit confused at times. The new LFO is just simple and very easy to use. Nice one!!
