I loaded a softsynth onto a midi track, then put it in inside a rack - i hit configure on the softsynth and moved all the parameters i wanted to map and saved the rack as a preset - however touchable only displayed the 8 macro controls and not the "configurable" parameters inside the rack ...

All this 64 bit crap is getting on my nerves. Maybe you guys weren't around for the 16 to 32 bit transition. It will take another year or two before everybody has worked through all the kinks. Ive got both running on Live on W7 64 bit Little thing i do sometimes for vsts that dont show up - first close Live, then rename the dll to something like taldub2.bak, re-open Live, close it again and put file back to original name taldub2.dll (or whatever its called) - reopen Live and it should res...

Yes Aether definitely makes for a slow render, you can change the options in the offline settings to speed it up a bit. I sent a mail to Ableton support last week to see if this is normal behaviour, waiting to hear back...
