Need some help from the community

Hi everyone, I´m a long time Ableton user and used to post regularly here. A friend and I have build what we think is a great website and a great tool for the audio producer community, its a platform to sell and buy used software licenses. However, we find it hard to get the attention we think we de...

Hi everyone, I hope its ok to post this here, if not, please remove my post. A friend and I have created knobcloud.com, a marketplace for used audio software licenses. It is an ebay-style platform, free to use. This is what we offer: - Selling and buying licenses free of charge - An international au...

Question to MIDI expert

Hello friends I am wondering why some midi connections are better than others. I have a Vermona Maschine drum which connects quite badly to my octatrack (timing is horrible), but when I plug the machine into my drum module it works fantastically. Same goes for other midi connections, some are good, ...

Re: New Novation's Product

I feel like no matter what kind of gear Ill get in the future, there will always be a place for the octatrack. Its a suitable companion for everything and a great standalone piece of gear. Im curious about the circuit too, but it will be an addition, not a replacement for the OT.

Re: New Novation's Product

thank you! I´m leaning towards an octatrack, but its soo much money... If the korg or the novation were not fixed to the grid I´d be fine with them for now.

Re: New Novation's Product

what would you go for tarekith, if you could freely choose between the aforementioned (not minding the price of course)? Or is there something missing in my list? I was just looking at your youtube electribe performance, really nice!

Re: New Novation's Product

I dont get why the jdxi, the korg electribe 2 and this unit all insist on notes being on the 1/16 or 1/32 grid. if they capture knob movement they have a finer grid within the system, so why the hell dont they use it for notes too. they force me to buy an octatrack or the op1, but why??

Re: The Great BitWig Migration

I actually switched to bitwig. its odd cause I used to have a sense of "belonging" (not finding the right word) to this forum, and now I feel like I turned my back on you guys. Its hilarious in a way. What I think is really nice, in bitwig you have no redundance (right word?). Take lives s...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration

You really need to work with bitwig for a while in order to appreciate it. Its impossible to say if live is better than bitwig or the other way. It depends entirely on your workflow. Right now thinking, bitwig is way better for me to get things done, while live might be better to fool around. Live i...

Re: why does a sudden silence produce noise?

So I guess also what this means is that you cant eq away the pop (unless you eq the previous sound with it).
