Under Categories everything is MISSING but my plugins.
i just cloned my C drive (SSD) onto a larger (SSD) and everything seemed fine but i just went to pull up an audio effect and all my category info is gone
using Ableton Live 9

i guess i could also just replace the 250GB SSD M.2 that came with the computer with a 1TB internal M.2 before taking it out bounce everything currently on the 250GB SSD onto the internal HDD that has plenty of space and then make a recovery flash drive to boot off of for after i swap the SSD's sinc...

thanks for input: so could i just put all my recording stuff on the external so i wouldn't have to stress out the internal 250GB SSD (i can run it through usb 3 or the USB type C port i could just keep the operating system on the internal SSD and other various non-musical programs on it. i use ablet...

looks like Arq isn't set up for windows quite yet. (i am using windows)
when you say the caveat of backblaze is "have to be prepared" not sure what you mean by that. i don't mind a little work at end of session.

i came to live from nothing (other than archaic tape recorders). if you come in fresh like that you don't have to unlearn things or get caught up in the "what's missing" black hole. made it much easier i suspect.

by far one of the best upgrades i have ever done. the speed in loading is amazing compared to regular hard drive. don't even think about it (other than logistics of course) do it.
