There are definitly some funny bugs with pattrstorage & pattr. I was briefly trying to store a javascript array / object with the patch using pattr & @bind which caused immediate crashes whenever the device was loaded :/

I've been thinking about this too, ive been producing on headphones for years and think its finally time i got hold of some monitors. I'm in a similar price range and have got to the krk rp5s or the adam a3xs. I'm finding it difficult to find many reviews of the a3xs since they are pretty new.

You'll need to reinstall the LiveControl midi remote script. I dont believe they are automatically copied when you install a new version of live

pass the id to a live.object, then send it getpath. that should get you what you want. then you can append <something>

yes im afraid strangely that particular control isnt available in the python api. Regards changes, there wasnt much from 8.1 to 8.1.6, just track colour. I've been meaning to dump the api for 8.2 for a while. I'll get onto that soon

for those of you having issues with the latest release i suggest completely deleting the LiveControl_TO folder and reinstalling with the new installer. Sometimes it doesnt properly overwrite the files.

the only way i can think to get this information is to collapse the group, dump the track info and uncollapse the group and compare track lists before and after. i dont see a variable in the api i thought maybe canonical parent for a grouped track would have the group as its parent but alas this isn...

ST8, I was able to get it running in Ableton. Thank you. :) The only problem now is that it sends all data to the iPad, but I can't send anything back from iPad to the computer. The keys/drum no longer seems to work either, so it must be a midi issue. got the right ports / hostname set in TouchOSC?
