Had a FW410 under XP for about a year and never had a single issue with it.

Granted the vista driver problems must be a pain in the arse though. Is it really that tuff to make a driver, vista has been out for ages?

The people in this thread getting very upright and militant about "supporting the developers" and taking the "complainers" to task for being cheapskates are missing the point and, frankly, should go find a more useful outlet for their indignation. Much of the feedback in this th...

The loop masters and zero-g ones are all good. They all have lots of hits and loops. Other than that make friends with a funk DJ and persuade him that you should come round and listen to all the drum breaks in his tunes. After one or 2 suggest that recording them could be a good idea to save them fo...

I tend to build my patterns on one track to start, then when I have the basic pattern I duplicate that track as many times as needed and then just remove the midi notes from the clips. So if I make a beat with a kick, snare and hat I would duplicate this track twice so I have 3 tracks. Then on the f...

Are there that many venues around that can support that hambone?
Or is it a case of always taking your own system etc?

I use session and arrange for making tunes as the session is a great sketch pad for messing with ideas. I would like to see the focus being across the board so I truly can use one bit of software for production and playing live. Splitting them up to me would be pointless. I can go buy traktor and lo...

The first time I ever heard a final scratch being used in anything but a demo situation was on a Radio 1 show with DJ Marky and DJ Craze (3 times world ch...
