no enhancements, this is a normal function. i do not use fancy keyboard programs...

over complication of the issue. take a sound. figure out what you like about and then figure out what you think is missing from it. make what is missing.(ppsssssst.... right click the instrument and click 'group', then add the new sound in a new chain on the same channel to save channel spaces) play...

or just go to the midi clip hit ctrl+a to highlight everthing, then use the up and down arrows to move hte notes up or down by semitones.

through about 20 minutes of trial and error, I have found the issue. If you use a ctrl+variable command, and hold it down, therefore initiating the "key repeat" function, where it will send the on/off command repeatedly of whatever you're doing, Ableton will basically freeze the ctrl funct...

normal key strokes like spacebar for play, and delete for well... delete, still work. anything utilizing ctrl+variable is not working. WTF. ABLETON, HELP.

This is really killing my productivity. Only way to reset is to reboot Ableton. I CAN'T BE DOING THIS. HELP!

Keyboard shortcuts are no longer working after random intervals. I am using them and then they all just stop working. This is a random event and I can't figure out, if anything, I am doing to cause this.

What gives?

just drop your master fader by 3db no need for a utility

i strongly advise against using limiters. maybe put on on the master channel to prevent overs (sounds over 0dbfs) from hitting the speakers, but you should mix quite a bit lower than 0dbfs and never have to use a limiter. if you need loudness, try compressing the individual tracks vs the limiter.

i highly suggest avoiding all presonus products. as a former GC salesperson who sold a LOT of these units, i have seen the exact equal amount break and fail to work ever again. my own unit has failed and presonus has treated me like an ignorant fool. good luck if you buy it but know that the product...
