Damn despite all the crappy stuff that was said about him he was imho a great entertainer/musician and was a big musical influence of mine R.I.P mate.

Just copy your old L7 library into the newly installed L8 folder then start L8 and point it to that copied folder
this way your L7 library is not touched, I have both installed on my machine.

No third-party plugins are supported, but it can be ReWired. As with Reason, Record is a "closed system"
