Hi,
this sounds like your Live executable was corrupted (e.g. because of a harddisk problem).

Hi,
if you force-quit Live, a bug reporting pack should be created the next time you start Live.

Hi,
do you see this with arbitrary Live Sets? If not, could you send us an example Set (to mfl-beta@ableton.com)?

Hi,
please provide us with as much information as you have (for example .alp files that were created after a crash).
You should send this to mfl-beta@ableton.com

Re: How does 8.1 related to the current 8.05 version?
Hi, Live 8.0.5 is the current bugfix update of Live and completely unrelated to "Max for Live" testing. When MfL will be finally released, Live will be pushed to the 8.1 branch for all users. Meanwhile I recommend to use 8.0.x for (critical) production work and 8.1bx for testing MfL. Best,...

Re: err.. how do i get m4l to show up/work?
Hi Tarekith, at a first glance it looks like that the MfL beta serial was added to the wrong license (to the now obsolete license from Live 8 beta testing). We will sort that out asap. Sorry for the trouble, Friedemann PS: If others (in particular those who took part in the Live 8 beta testing) expe...

Hi,
did Live create a crash reporting pack (.alp file)? If so, could you please send it to mfl-beta@ableton.com?
Thanks,
Friedemann

Re: Beta version for upcoming bugfix update! Live 8.0.2b1!
Hi, regarding the library update: we made a bunch of fixes for presets, including fixing typos in preset names and annotations. Most of them apply to Suite content but some also to content that can be used in Live, e.g. effect presets and locked racks. The final release of 8.0.2 will contain them al...

Re: [frs] Opening Self Contained Set from Previous Version
Hi,
a self-contained Live 5 Set should have a 'Sounds' folder next to it. For example, if the Set is called 'Test.als'
there should be a folder 'Test Sounds' that contains the samples next to the set. Is this the structure you have?

Hi,
this lessons and possibly some others have been included by accident. They are work in progress and
will not be part of the initial Live 8 release.
