Is anybody doing anything like this with M4L? Can somebody confirm that its possible? ....I've searched and can't seem to find any sort of real documentation on it.
Thanks so much.

Re: Any new DJ bags?
I couldn't agree with you more SubFunk- I think some of the choices out there are a little to conspicuous. Its a good point that nobody ever seems to mention. The Mono bag, Namba bag, etc. all look a little too much like they might be carrying something "special" - Walking through certain ...

Max 4 Live will enable "other" controllers?
I'm wondering if M4L will enable me to use a joystick, wiimote, etc. to control Live. I've looked and I can't seem to find the answer... Dropping $300 would be easier if it means I can save a few from buying Junxion or something.

Any new DJ bags?
I'm looking for a new DJ bag. I no longer need to fit my awkwardly shaped APC40 since I last searched for a new bag. Anybody have any suggestions? Something that can be traveled with? --- though not necessarily checked in. ...more as a carry on. I know the mono 365 - which I'm leaning towards, Namba...

Re: Joystick as midi controller?
I meant - how is it on controlling individual parameters on plug-ins? ...and on programming it to do so.
but more importantly, can it be used with any joystick? ...or does it have to be one that it "supports"? I've looked all over their site and couldn't find a clear answer to this.

Re: Joystick as midi controller?
I'm sorry if this is what you meant, but are any of you actually using Osculator with live? How is it on plug-ins?

Re: Joystick as midi controller?
Bidule looks cool, but more than what I'm looking for. I'm just looking for a sort of "patch" to link a joystick to map to midi in Live. Junxion looks like its on the right track, but so expensive!

Joystick as midi controller?
I know this isn't a new idea. Is anybody here doing it with Live though? ...if so, how?
...and could anybody suggest a program to do this on a mac? ...there's some cool joysticks out there and I thought it would be cool, even if just for XY controls.

Deejaysystem?
Anybody using this? --- http://www.deejaysystem.com/
...seems like a small company. I'm very curious about it. It looks like it can be controlled by joystick as well. I'm wondering if you can scratch with a joystick!?

Re: VCI-300 ~ VCI-100 with Ableton
Thanks for the info - esp about the vci-300. I definitely feel like Live and Traktor/Serato can somewhat crossover. I'm a total amateur with Traktor, but can imagine the possibilities. I know I heard something about an integrations of Serato and Live, but I know nothing about it. Does anybody know s...

VCI-300 ~ VCI-100 with Ableton
Is anybody out there using either of these (or something similar) with Live? I use Traktor along with Live during live sets, but I don't use a controller for Traktor. I've been thinking about getting one of these, but I'd like to be able to use it in Live as well. Can controls be mapped into Live? D...

X + LAUNCHPAD = APC40
...so what's X? I have an APC40 - and really like it, but admittedly haven't completely dove in. From the start, I've wished it to be a bit smaller. I'm wondering about getting a Launchpad plus another controller to sort of equal the power of the APC40. ....I guess something with a crossfader - mayb...

Re: MOTU ultralite mk3 - still sucks?
thanks for the feedback. I didn't mean to offend anybody with the title of the post. I just found so many surprisingly negative posts on this thing. I guess I can just hope its from PC users. ...though I will say my old 828 still works fine on a PC OR a mac. I'd rather go with the MOTU as I've narro...

MOTU ultralite mk3 - still sucks?
I'm looking for a new soundcard. I have an 828 that I bought the day it was first introduced. 5 computers later - and it still works!!! Its terribly disappointing to see all the negative mk3 posts. I'm hoping something has changed. Please let me know your woes. The mk3 is more or less exactly what I...
