Thanks for all your input. I got Turntablist and sxratch working, now i ll
have to play with them a while to see if they do it for me.
Looks promising.

Little Tip:
The actual Version of TurntablistPro (1.04) seems not to work in Live -
Version 1.01 works good

i don t own a cdj, and i want to scratch my own recordings, so a turntable
won t do it, since i just got a cd-burner but no vinyl-burner :D

As said, i just need it as special FX, don t want to do q-bert hip hop scratching,
so i ll try out turntablist pro

Searching a scratch plugin

Hello all, i m searching an simple plugin to do "scratching" sounds with audiofiles, doesn t need to be ultra-realistic, as i just need it for short special FX. The workaround i ve found is consolidate the part i want to scratch, open it with Traktor at a friend, play around with it (scrat...

Any thing said is right, but there are several possible scenarios, and it could make a difference, if you two want to jam with Reason and AFTER that mix it and play with it in Ableton or if you want to Jam at the same time, you with Live and your Friend with Reason. 1. It would be easy with Reason a...

If i was sober and rationally (which is hard), I would buy a PC with Core2Duo, 2 GB Ram and two HDs for about 2000 or even less, put away the other 2000 and buy a new computer in 2 or three years. Doing this, you will have a really powerfull and "up-to-date" Audio-Computer for the next 5 y...

is it possible your send-knobs on send b are grey instead of black like the ones on your audiochannels? Then you have to right-click them and enable or activate all sends. I thought in your first post you wanted to create a new audiotrack as workaround, which will not work as good as a special send-...

I just have expirience with Desktop PC s, but have to say that I more often had projects which reached what my HD could deliver than reaching the end of processor-power. What is REALLY IMPORTANT for this discussion (well, in my personal opinion): If you run out of Processor Power with your Project, ...

Ask the Doctor... The Problem is (-> feature request): You can assign 1 midi-knob to many destinations in Live, but you can not assign multiple midi-messages to one destination in Live. So it would be easy to assign one knob to send a, b AND d, (if want even with different highest and lowest Values,...

Just make a Folder at your external HD, for example called "my live", and in this you make Folders Racks, Sets anp Presets. You can Bookmark it in Lives Browser. There you store all your own Racks and Presets and sets. If you store a set in Live 6, it automatic creates a Projekt Folder wit...

To make the decision a bit harder... At first I think Reaktor is great, but for streamlining your setup and being more productiv, its perhaps the worst option at all, because it s like having manymany many Synths... interseting but steals yous Time. Have you thought about for example Minimonsta from...

And look up consolidate in thr manual, my english is to bad

And by the way: Consolidate will allways make a new File.

I think your send knobs on the return channels are greyed out.

Right-Click on it and then select enable send(s)
