It simply does not work properly. I have contacted Ableton support about this and they have provided zero answers. There shouldn't be a debate about this. It just doesn't work they way it is supposed to. Period. And until they acknowledge this and fix it, it will be a useless function.

That makes sense but what about no Beatseeker and external sync? Seems like Live has problems whenever you introduce any kind of syncing.....

I think it's mainly for guitar and bass type inputs. Works great for that.

Not sure why you would want to do this. I guess give them away to someone. Don't throw them away though.
