I'm not interested in purchasing but.. the picture quality of those photos is great! How did you take the pictures?

Re: Is There Any way to use Ipad and Akai Lpd pad controller?
I'm not sure what you're asking here. Do you want to link the iPad and the LPD25 together, as in running one cable to the other? I'm not sure, but I don't believe that is possible. Of course you could hook them both up to your computer as normal, it would just take two USB ports and some tweaking on...

Re: Selling some software, looking for opinions.
I really don't judge a plugin based on its built in presets. Using sounds other people made is not a crime by any stretch, I just want to build my own. From what I've seen Ableton Suite is flexible in this regard too because you can do Instrument Racks. Which is awesome. I have used Sylenth1 before,...

Re: Selling some software, looking for opinions.
I have to say, I must eat my words in this thread. I'm at an indecisive point. I decided to take Komplete 6 off sale until I figure this out. Right now I'm on a MacBook with a 250 GB hard drive. I'm worried about hard drive space and computing power while using the Native Instruments plugins. I see ...

Re: 25 or 49 key controller?
I think the 25 can do what you want it to do most of the time. Unless you are a good piano player (personal opinion) you don't need a lot of keys. I have a 49 key keyboard but I have a feeling I would be completely alright with a 25 key with remote controls etc., ala MPK25. Octave switch buttons are...

Re: LiveControl: Automap for TouchOSC (ipod/ipad)
Everything works great on my iPod Touch 3G!
My Wi-Fi speed isn't all that great though so the responsiveness is limited to only triggering clips. Can a USB cable be used with the iPod to improve latency?
That's probably been asked already but maybe someone will humor the question .

Re: Audio Interface
I don't record audio into my computer through my interface so I can't comment on that aspect of mine, but the Audio Kontrol 1 I own is perfect for what I do. I use it for running my MIDI to Ableton, I use it as my audio output device on Ableton, and I use it as my output to monitor my mixes. It all ...

Re: Stuck in a Slump
For awhile there, I even began to regret my purchase of Komplete 6. I felt in over my head for a bit is all. I'll be delving into it all a little at a time, once I get Komplete figured out it's a beautiful downhill slope. Of course tutorials about Ableton are fun to watch and easy to follow, so that...

Re: Stuck in a Slump
I have to thank you guys (and girls?) again for all the responses, all of these suggestions will be put into use. As for the tutorial tip, I don't think I have to worry about that now. I filled out a survey for the IMSTA a long while back... and I won! http://www.imsta.org/members/survey_contestwinn...

Re: Stuck in a Slump
To answer somebody who asked, my formal music knowledge is limited to what I could pick up from reading the book "The Complete Idiots Guide to Learning Music Theory." I do plan on taking music theory classes beginning this Fall at a junior college I'm attending though. It will just be diff...

Stuck in a Slump
Hey everybody, I'm posting this here in "Music and Audio Production" because I believe it relates to it closely. A lot of things changed recently with my music setup. I went from an old Gateway computer with FL Studio and not-so-legal plugins, to finally investing in myself to start my car...
