Modify Ableton Library
Hello, I want to move some samples in the ableton library, like keeping all snare samples in the same directory (the one from the sample hits folder with the one in the waveform folder). I also did an "unused" folder for the one I don't use/like I just want to know if all this will mess up live, spe...

Using Novation Remote SL without installing Automap
Hello I bought this master keyboard mainly because I like its action and controls, etc. I don't like Automap So I thought I buy it but I will not install Automap and I'll map everything with simple MIDI Now, how to do it? I heard there's a way to edit the Live Automap, for example to change the orde...

Re: Tascam US-2400 and Ableton Live 8
maybe isn't comprehensible what i've written, i try to make it simple, i can write the automation with the tascam in live, but when i playback the faders don't move, don't play the automations. (only the last step)

Tascam US-2400 and Ableton Live 8
hello i've bought a tascam US-2400 and i can use it very well with pro tools, unfortunately i can't configure it for ableton live, i tried all the tascam modes (native, HUI, mackie control, Sonar, Digital Performer) but the problem remains. Re: Driver Error Compensation doesn't work
you have to turn off the monitoring in the ableton track.. and then you will have no latency. you can use the total mix for zero latency monitoring.

Re: Does 'Driver Error Compensation' work with your soundcard?
ok, great, i've understood :) may i ask some other questions related to latency? to deeper understand how to configure all and save a "set and forget" template. i've tried to add plug ins and change the buffer at 2048 and i noticed there isn't latency in "off" mode. so, whatever the project is full ...

Re: Does 'Driver Error Compensation' work with your soundcard?
ok, but if i click "off" in the audio track i have no latency, while if i turn it in auto or in, i have the latency displayed as "overall latency" in the preference. point is, if in off i have no latency, why i should use the driver error compensation? and if in auto or in mode the driver error comp...

Driver Error Compensation doesn't work
hello i've tried setting up the driver error compensation, i've used the lesson about it, with the ableton live set. i've found out two things, first probably is useless recording the external output to the input because the value obtained is exactly the same called "overall latency" in the preferen...

Re: very easy improvement - track delay improvement
hey men.. isn't so hard to check if i'm right or not.. take a sample.. put 1000ms and export it.. you'll see immediately if there is an empty space before or not.. and the answer is not.. at least in live 6

Re: very easy improvement - track delay improvement
yes, i've tried, i've tested live and logic, logic exports the track delay while live not. i really like that feature and the way it works in live if there will be that option i will load all the tracks in live than i adjust the track delay, than i export and i'm ready to mix in logic :) i can be mu...
