Re: Push acting erratically
i'm getting this problem too. normally i've kept my pad sensitivity around -10 with no issues. now i can't set it below -3 or so without certain pads being triggered when i hit a pad nearby. on default sensitivity it hasn't been a problem so far, but it's clear that some pads seem more sensitive tha...

Re: SEAPUSH // seapunk color scheme for Push (v.9.0.5)
This is a massive improvement to the original colors. I get why they'd not choose a specific 'hue', but having COLOR in the chromatic mode makes a world of difference in recognition. I feel like I am doing everything better haha. Thank you for your great taste in color :D ha thanks // i really don'...

thanks y'all! if any of you do further modifications (or just have color schemes of your own design), i'd love to see them too!

Re: User colors on your Push!!!
I must say the support the Ableton community has is incredible. Although I have had no luck gettting the .py file to work, (also trying the new link >>by popular request<<) I am a patient person and is very impressed with all the help I've received. anyway, just wanted to high five all the folks he...

SEAPUSH // seapunk color scheme for Push (v.9.0.5)
i'm personally not a fan of the default color scheme on the push (especially given the super inconsistent white-LED calibration), and plus i always just obsessively mod the colors on my stuff when i have the chance. i posted some screenshots on this thread and got some positive feedback, so i packed...

Re: User colors on your Push!!!
man i spent so long using my custom color scheme that i forgot how egregious the white-calibration on the LEDs is. you'd think that if their whites were so inconsistent they wouldn't put white buttons front-and-center in the design! the key to making your push look beautiful : USE ANY COLOR BUT WHIT...

Re: User colors on your Push!!!
Ok, I've got a new version of the SkinDefault.py file for 9.0.5. To coin a developer phrase, "Works on my Push" :D https://github.com/dreznicek/AbletonLive9_SkinDefault/blob/9.0.5/SkinDefault.py WARNING: Make sure you copy your existing SkinDefault. pyc to a safe location BEFORE you drop ...

Re: User colors on your Push!!!
it looks like live 9.0.5 breaks the existing remote scripts, and if you're using a custom SkinDefaults.py file in your Push remote scripts folder, it will compile down and thus overwrite the new SkinDefaults.pyc file that comes with 9.0.5, rendering the Push unusable. at least it did with me - my pu...

BRAINSTORM: Push vs Audio Tracks
so now that we have some tools for making push-hacking easier in M4L (courtesy of forum user flocked ; see http://florianzand.de/push/ ), the first project that came to my mind is: To Figure Out Something Useful for Push to Do When Audio Tracks are Selected . this is obviously the biggest gap in pus...

Push Color Map?
i'm wondering if anyone knows of a velocity->color map for push's pads. is the argument x in RgbColor(x) (in the python scripts) equivalent to the velocity sent to the pad? is there a standard for this that push follows, or is the mapping specific to the push? a visual reference would be very handy....
