Put one External Instrument on each Pad you want to activate and tell the instrument, which external channels it should be assigned to. So every external inst...

I developed several externals (physically-based sound modeling) for both Max and pd and I really prefer pd. The main problem in Max is bad sync between signal and control data. In order to sort of fix it, you need to go inside 'DSP status' and set both 'Max scheduler in overdrive' and 'Scheduler in ...

Instead of disabling that ACPI battery thing try changing your energy-scheme to Desktop. It will force the CPU to maximum clock instead of dynamic clocking. Could do the same, but you maintain the option to go back to dynamic clocking. hi Timur, the best energy-scheme I'm aware of is 'always on'. A...

hurra!!
today I called the local M-Audio distributor (Sound Wave) and after a few discussion the support guy (thanks Enrico!) told me to try disabling the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" in the device manager, under "Battery". now it works without a glitch even at 64 sa...

Re: Creating audio programs.
Thank your for your response I guess Ill start out looking at synthedit and synthmaker and see what the possibilities are. I also looked at the architecture of reaktor 5 and it seem as though it shouldnt be too difficult, I believe this is what aphex twin and squarepusher have use. It's interesting...
