I need to copy this synth sound....I think it's pretty awesome... I have tried it with some detuned saws and chorus with different settings and glide on. Still it doesn't sound quite like it. A lot of times de tune of a kick doesn't really matter. I normally play a sine note at C-1 and it works fine.

I've listened to the tune but can't find the effect you mean...could you tell me at which part of the song it hits?

I just use multiple tracks etc. I reckon alot of people use drummachines like Guru, ableton drumracks or battery for their drums but I've never seen the advantage of them. I always found them hard to use and alot of other r...

It comes down to good samples, good drum programming (trial and error), swing. A bit of reverb and filtering to create the cave environment and youre don...atleast for me.

What do you use the resonator for specifically in this type of music?

With 4. Stop Button do you state that you can use one stop button to stop multiple clips? Is that possible? And if so how do I use it?

I wonder if anybody knows this but here I go;

for the groovebox ensembles how do you make them start and stop by playing a midi note? Currently they respond to nothing and just keep on playing when I stop the clip. They only stop when I stop the whole song...

Thanks guys I have been able to recreate it and indeed it reuired a piano sample! I've also noticed that you can make a decent techno chord with Ableton's Tension as standard preset.
