It's not shift, it's Select (button) + Track select

Instead they are unlit and not being used.

When you're in a track view and have a group track selected, wouldn't it make sense for those in/out arrows to expand group tracks and then fold them back up?

Is there some other way to unfold and fold group tracks?

you can make the pads light up when in user mode by sending them midi notes. use the same note that the pad sends out and velocity controls the color. alternatively, you can use flocked's push developer kit for M4L to grab control of push's different physical controls and send them color informatio...

Other specialized controllers let us use the lights and screen when in a generic midi mode. Like Machine, which shows the labels for the different midi controls on its screen when in midi mode and has it's pad lit up. I'm not liking this complete darkness in user mode. Dig deep Ableton. I'm using the latest beta so settings are supposed to be kept right? The velocity curve stays were I leave it now, but the scale mode always goes back to in-key. I would hardly ever want it in key. Shouldn't the key mode stay where you leave it too?!!
