tbh i think it's more the fault of the driver or the OS than live's.. some drivers don't get flushed from the memory when the application using them gets closed. and applications normally wait for libs or drivers shutting down before they really exit. either blame the OS or the crappy coded drivers ...

if i were you i'd sync them the other way around, run live as master and the kaosspad as the slave.

the problem with live as slave is that you loose the latency compensation.

honestly, it's pretty self-explanatory. if you need more info, there are lots of tutorials on the web, you just need to google.
