I once read in Sound on Sound magazine: Data only exists if it exists in two places. To which I say: Amen. Over the years I have had all media failing on me: DAT tapes, Hard disks, floppies (remember those?) CD-R. When you take stuff off your hard drive and archive it it HAS to be on 2 copies. I hav...

Yeah I PM'ed machinate - I'm up for sending waveforms. The way I see it, Simpler is a synthesizer so even if it doesn't emulate the source faithfully, it can still sound really fucking good!!! The envelopes are unreal.... The filter is tight... it's a doddle to program... I'm up for sending patches ...

Nod - PM me, I'll stick some single cycles on dropload.com I have a bunch (saw, square and mixed saw/square) that came out of Logics ES-1 that sound really fat in Simpler! Simpler is amazing! The attack times of the envelopes have a punch that is very rarely heard on synths - hardware or software - ...

Send the two outputs instead of to the master to a new audio channel, (I-O menu) now you have created a SUBGROUP, everything that you route to this channel can now be faded out in one go.
Read the section in the manual about audio routing, it is very flexible in Live and very handy.
Hope that helps.

What VJ program for 2-D graphics?
I want to do graphics for 1 or 2 video beams for my gigs, mainly consisting of flat blocks of colour, scanned graphics/digital photos, maybe some video but no 3D, no shading no texture mapping. I want the animations to sort of look like an abstract version of 80's home video games (Atari 2600!!!) SO...

Synthmaker 0.9.5 released
From www.synthmaker.com
The latest new release is now available. This is the first release to include new high-level modules. There's also a new example schematic to show how these can be used.
Still a free (beta) download. Looks really interesting!
