Re: Ableton 9 Browser - FAVORITES, STAR, AND FEEDBACK
Like burningfeetman I also think that DEV time could be much better used for more important things and personally I would even really don't like such a feature. As a producer you should imho really decide yourself what you like and what not - yes that means digging sounds and even presets. I also do...

Browser: user added content should be in CATEGORIES too
Added folders at PLACES are not accesable via CATEGORIES. I want... - I want to add a folder with my drum samples to PLACES - later I want to acces all my drum samples, that means all samples from Live and my library and my own. - When I look at the SAMPLE meta-folder at CATEGORIES, I can't see cont...

Re: so many glitches in ableton 9
another thing i want to say is maybe yeah undo features are unable to apply to every third party vst but a DAW should certainly try. it seems like ableton stopped trying. cause i remember being able to WAAAYYYY more often. on a related note and this may be the most important problem im having with ...

Re: EEEK! for Live users. Ease Efficiency Ergonomics Knowledge!
Anyway, if mouse users just use my iKey shortcuts and KeyRemap keyboard scrolling in Live, they will cut their mouse use and speed up their workflow. If that keyboard company can claim to speed you up by an inferred 30%, I claim 200%, with a 50% reduction in mouse use for those obstinate sods who i...

Re: EEEK! for Live users. Ease Efficiency Ergonomics Knowledge!
I totally see your point and I also like to use short cuts a lot in combination with the mouse - that's important to reduce mouse work. What I have learned is that there is no best way for everyone, people need choices because people are different. Therefore I absolutely think your keyboard passion ...

Re: EEEK! for Live users. Ease Efficiency Ergonomics Knowledge!
Just for the mouse part... I agree with the problem, but from my experience most RSI problems are the result from wrong mouse usage. Many people just use the wrist to move the mouse, they let the whole arm fixed and only move the hand. Most ergonomic suggestion on computer work are, in my opinion, m...

Re: native instruments presets in instruments rack
really a nice idea and thanks for sharing the files!
but it doesn't work here. I'm on win7 with 9.04. I can load the racks even with the mapping from fm8, but the VST self doesn't load it's preset. any idea?
which absynth/fm8 version did you use (I'm on 5.01)?

Re: smexoscope sort of thing
one (really good :-) ) idea: could you implement a temp sync window for the scope? that means, when you choose 1 bar sync window it will show you exactly one bar length, with 1/4 bar you will see 1/4 bar and so on. that is very helpfull when you want to monitor the wave form of a kick drum or someth...

Re: Status of Ableton Share?
Old post, but new curiosity... Is ableton sharing ever going to re appear? It was a genius idea, and an important one for modern collaboration now that we have pretty fast internet connections. Please bring it back! Dropbox, iCloud, Box.com, LiveDrive... There are tons of cloud solutions these days...
