The only workaround that I know of is to use maxforlive to iterate through the 0-127 range and grab the values for displaying on a live.dial. This though changes the dial to the enumeration type which can be automated but not modulated. Maybe this will change in the future but it's been this way sin...

You'd need to set it up as a MIDI Controller with Track switched on in the settings. Then Arm the track with your drum rack on, and make sure the notes the controller is sending correspond to the cells you want to play in the drum rack.... That said no real idea as I've not got a Polyend Play... Che...

No there's not and you'll need Suite or MaxforLive added to Standard, no other versions of Live support MaxforLive.

If you're not into reading manuals and doing lessons then yeah, alternatively search for your local Ableton Certified Trainer, a couple of hours with one of them will set you right off...

No you can practise timing and launch the next clip within the measure of your quantisation, or you can use follow actions which will automatically move the the next clip after a set time from the launch of the clip... What you've described is not how Live works so if you truly can't use the above s...
