One can be certain that there is no leftover junk, say if a Live 7 file is opened and resaved in Live 9.

One doesn't need Live to edit / finetune ones projects.

pretty much the same as Grouping together groups, no? That way you can have multiple submasters before going to the master.

There can only be one master anyhow, if you reflect upon the actual meaning of the word.
