Re: psychedelic hip hop
Hey, Sevgiolam! I think YOu`ve invented a new type of hip-hop music and I really liked so much!!! :D  Keep going  New kind of hip-hop? The first track is basically a hip-hop nod to Boards of Canada, and the second has hints of Gescom. It's nice, will be cool to hear a version with rh...

Re: new idm track
This is a nice starting sketch. I feel like it either needs to get to the point more quickly or have something more at the beginning to get me into the track. There's potential for some nice build-ups and places to drop stuff in to kick it off, but right now it's pretty static, it doesn't really move.

Re: iPad DJ Chick
If anyone were to post a video like this, regardless of set-up, people would talk shit on it. This has nothing to do with the gender of the person in the video, it's the CONTENT of the video. Likewise, if someone posts up a video of them pwning their set-up and making dope stuff it wouldn't matter i...

Re: iPad DJ Chick
Who fucking cares? Did you even pay attention to the fact she said she never had DJ'd before this? it's a youtube video of a girl showing off ipads that she thinks make a good set up. Not a technical display of her DJ skills. She mainly shows off applications that are available now for people to me...

Re: Fresh _________ track.
It kind of reminds me of a cleanly produced take on some early WHY? those guys are pretty cool. I like. I'm surprised I haven't heard of them. I can practically throw a rock and hit Berkeley from my apartment. I'm definitely taking your post as a compliment at this point. 8) thanks again. Aww, hell...

Re: Glitched out Cumbiatronica
I think if you picked up that horn sound and made a melody out of it you could use that as a jumping off point into a more "proper" track. Kind of just filler as it is.

Re: Monome 128 for sale
Fuck buying a monome... They're overpriced. Build your own. Build an Arduinome on the cheap. Build this bliptronic conversion kit and have a mini-monome clone for less than $150

Re: giving a sampled note more sustain
Well, you drag whatever sample into the window on simpler. Then you can change the fade settings and set the area you want it to loop. With a short sample it's harder to make it sound natural because you're looping such a small portion. Adjust the fade/loop length until you get something you're happ...

Re: giving a sampled note more sustain
If you use simpler you can make the it loop a small portion of the sample to create a false sustain. That's about the only thing I can think of.
edit: after re-reading your post I guess you don't have simpler eh?

Re: js object not behaving properly?
The JS object does not keep track of absolute paths. Welcome to the Max search path. The easiest thing to do is just put it in the same folder as the device which is using it. -A Thanks so much! This was the issue. I hadn't come across the fact that it doesn't store absolute paths in any of my read...
