Maschine vs. Push
Now that a lot of us have had some exposure to both Push and Maschine I wonder which package impresses you the most. And this is not to say that one is better than the other or that if you could only have one which one would that be. No, I'm more interested to know, especially from those that own bo...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration
But this is about MIGRATION, though I'm sure some will, I think most won't. Nice and neat with a bow  I agree that most who have Live 9 won't migrate to a version 1 BWS. I can't say the same for the folk who didn't upgrade from 8. Especially those who had suite and M4L already. I'm one of ...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration
That isn't bad odds for a startup. And it could be an indication of some real dissatisfaction among Live's core users. It could. I could see some of that as people liking the new coat of paint, or maybe they like getting in at the ground level so they can grow with the app, especially since this ma...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration
There is nothing scientific about the poll, however... As of this post a little better than 50% of the respondents have a neutral or optimistic view of BWS from the information they have gleaned from where ever. Now there are a ton of factors at play here and I don't think anything negative about Li...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration
You know you guys are arguing about something you're speculating on right? It just seems weird to me to have anything like hard opinions about a product that isn't out of beta? I don't see an argument. I made a point. That person made a point and now you. Every discussion is not an argument. But if...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration
Also, I don't understand the negativity towards BitWig. From a moral standpoint. Leaving your company to found a new one with the intention of creating a clone of the flagship product is pretty much a dick move. Especially when you make sure you gathered intellectual property and company assets bef...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration
A. Live has been over a decade in the making, and Bitwig is just getting started - meaning that likely there will be massive amounts of buggy features, tech issues, and instability. Not necessarily. When Studio One hit it didn't have a massive amounts of bugs and instability. Bitwig will deifnitely...

Re: The Great BitWig Migration
You know, thing is I look forward to trying it but I can't buy it. It won't support AU's out the gate (maybe not ever?). One of my favorite plugs is Granite. I'm not ready to kick it to the curb just yet.

Re: The Great BitWig Migration
BitWig is too late to the party. They should have released it when Live 8 was still current. It was the worst release of Live by far. Riddled with bugs and crashes and without any updates for almost four years. People were starting to think Ableton was going belly up and would have gladly jumped sh...

Re: If there were no Ableton Live.............
I started with Live after Mackie bought Tracktion. Now that Jules is back at the helm I'd probably just go back to it. However, if I were on a pc it would be FLS. And none of those choices replaces Reaper in my setup.

Re: Bitwig 1.0
Its not tough luck getting live because live offers live intro for 99 and you can find it on the internet for $50. These are both semi reasonable prices for musicians. I seriously doubt you gave this argument much thought. Are you saying that all software should be priced less than a certain amount?

Free drum synth - Wejaam
Ran across this freebie and wanted to pass it on. I downloaded the app and registered it without incident. Works well as a plugin or standalone. It has quite a few features built in like effects and the ability to use samples or the built in synth. http://www.wejaam.com/#!wejaam-designer/cvvt Never ...
