Hehe, this is neat. takes some tricky mouse movements to tweak it live. I moved the scale effect from track uh, 16 was it? 17? to the nusk bass track. Recorded live tweaking notes and trying to switch scale presets on beat. I had some params in chord and the delay set to sliders on a controller. Nea...

Clip vs Original wav Impulse question (...)
So I have a 1 minute drumloop, called Loop01.wav and I load 8 clips of it in the session view. I set each one to an individual hit in the loop. I load the clips into inpulse. So, I start with this big Loop01.wav, but realy only use like 4 seconds of it (the 8 clips). If I save as self contained, it ...

removing audio from a track as in, a machine->reverb effect,->master? Or removing reverb from a wav file? #1 is easy, just move the reverb effect into a Return effect track (use A) in the track that had verb, set the return A all the way up. Switch back to the reverb and set it to 100% (how you do t...

Re: Numerous questions from a FL studio user!!
I have been using fruity loops for a while ew :) 1. Is it possible to place a break loop either within impulse or as a clip, and repeatedly trigger the break to cause a studder effect??(for example as in come to daddy- squarepusher. Yes, you acualy can do this with the built in audio effect Beat Re...

Vsti Lfo
Does anyone know of a pretty cut and dry midi LFO vsti? In buzz I would use a PeerLFO (for any lurking buzz users you know whats up). If not I will clean up the one I did in synthedit, its pretty usefull. You still need midi yoke. Anyway, I will get it a bit more user friendly and up it somewhere an...

the endless mastering question
This question shows up in every forum at least once. The thing is, mastering is this huge other part of making production quality material. Its not impossible to do but running your whole mix through a few plugins will not usualy get the results youd get from paying a chunk of cash to someone who do...

How to copy tracks
Its a few steps but it only takes a few seconds. Say its a midi track with like 6 effects. Make a new empty midi track, copy all the clips into the new track (controll click, then drag, release controll/mouse). Then in the original track select all the machines, controll drag them into the new track...

Re: automation snap to grid? piano roll "thickness"?
to let the automation snap to the current quantization grid? I want to hijack this question and change it a little. Is there any way I've managed to miss to turn on a grid snap in arrangement view? that snaps to the current timescale grid, but also maby to snap to some sort of increment up and down...

uh
I would LOVE individual aux sends or something in the way of routing on individual drums in impulse... it would make it a kick-ass drum machine instead of a pretty good one. I always like setting seperated delay times on different drums. It sounds cool! ...and at the end of the day, isn't that we'r...

A neat way to work with beatrepeat
Ok, this is acualy part of a thing I'm writing about in another post. Start a new file in Live. You need 2 Audio tracks. Put a drum loop or something in '1 Audio'. Loop it so you have something on beat. Now, set the 'Audio To' setting in '1 Audio' to '2 Audio'. Make sure 'Monitor' is set to Auto. No...

Ok, another intermission
I thought this kinda tied into what I'm talking about. This was made with this setup. I will kinda just run down a list I think. Oh, there is a link to the mp3 at the bottom, if this comes off as a 'listen to my track' post i'm sorry, I will start posting Live example files soonish. First track was ...
