ok.. well i have massive.. so i can do that.. however. im just curious when u say filter automation, do you mean like add an auto filter then automate it to preference? or is there some other tool or method.

so its a dub wobble by sukh knight.. in massive i could see it being made with the daft filter... im not sure at all in ableton... but this is alot different than like say Doctor P or something.. compared to that id say it has an analog feel. Also if anyone knows weather he made a synth with sub bas...

i noticed when i resample 2 clips into one it ends up be more quiet then it was when i play them both together before resampling.. do i need to frequency split, compress and eq properly for my resampled track to come out with full volume or quality...

so i have samples saved that i want to use.. what i've done is put the sample im using side by side with a drum rack in arrangement view and drawn in the drums side by side with the audio... I've gotten it almost exactly but i noticed the bpms on my drum racks loop and the sample i have looping are ...

I have massive installed to a folder named plug ins on my desktop... when i try to go into ableton and look @ my plug ins it dosnt show up. i selected the vsti folder as the plug ins folder on my desktop and hit rescan... nothing though... ne ideas..

Thank you for the crash course on layering synths. so for a full range bass synth you need at least three layers? is there a point where ur adding to many layers like 5 or 6? Im interested in what you mean by layering synths.. how do you do that? i feel like analog is more confusing than operator... Also in songs like Meat off the bone by ben samples where the room is just like filled with bass but it dosnt seem to have any note per say... its just like bass on the ears.. im not sure i havent tried to make it happen myself yet but i feel like it might be a kick with alot of sustain so it holds ...

so when u use an apc 40 and play ur whole song live, you record it the same way? just put all the sends to a new audio track and start playing?
