I will attest though, in lieu of getting the Maschine, check out Hanz's APC 64 40 script for your choice. It will push the capabilities of your 40 to places you never dreamed for sure.

Sorry if it seemed confusing. I meant the primary recording function for the program. On the same channel that has the instant haus program, when I select a clip to record to with the channel armed, nothing actually records. The clip loops, I see and hear music, but no patterns write.

Best bet is to use time machine. You can back up your entire mac setup on the external, boot the new computer into time machine with the external hooked up and it will retain every setting and app you had from the previous mac.

Hmm never saw that site before. I've taken to importing certain code from the 64_40 into the baseline apc20 scripts. Not sure if it will work, but here's to hoping!
