Hello to all,
I have one guitar sound clip that was recorded at 85 bpm and a second clip recorded at 100 bpm.
What I want to do is to mix both in Ableton but then I need to be able to decrease only the second clip to 85 bpm. Any idea on how to do it?
Thanks a lot in advance.

Re: Why always 120 BPM?
It's quite easy to solve.
Start Live, set it to 100
Go to "Preferences...",
Then go to File Folder and click on "Save Current Set as Default"
Done.

Re: Dropbox: Syncing between two machines?
I do use dropbox on a day to day basis and it's just fantastic. It keeps sync copies in local files so you don't need to worry for Internet. But also it keeps the copies in the web and much better, it keeps copies of previous versions of each file so if you save a file by mistake, all you need to do...

Re: converting wav to mp3
Ableton does not have that possibility; you can not convert or even save in MP3 format.
You can use Itunes, Audacity or other free tools for converting to MP3.

Re: MP3 for Ableton Live Lite
Thanks for answering fast. The point is that I'm not able to listed to an MP3 file in live lite 8. Once I try to drag/drop the file in either session or arrangement view I get an error saying that the MP3 file type is not supported.
Please note I'm using live LITE.

MP3 for Ableton Live Lite
I have bought an M-Audio Fast Track Pro Interface which came with Live Lite. I have upgraded to live lite 8.2.6 but even this version does not support MP3 which I think is a terrible mistake as instead of thinking to buy Live and pay $449 I'm thinking to go for Reaper at $60 and forget about Live Li...

Re: One Audio Track, One MIDI Track, how to make the two sound?
Hard to say, could you post a screenshot perhaps? Are you in arrange (horisontal tracks) or session (clip matrix) mode? Is the midi track enabled? Thanks for your interest on answering as your question gave me the answer for what I was doing wrong. The problem was that I was on session mode but I d...
