I'm trying to midi map my APC buttons to control the LFO speed in one of my soft synths. I would like to say, push a button and have the LFO be 1/8, and then push another and have it be 1/16. I can't seem to find a way to do this....

Well if you're in college, have you looked into an academic discount? The 'regular' edition is about half the price. Something you should consider.

I'm a little bit confused about what it actually is. Is it kind of like a 'synth builder'? Do you wire premade objects together to create new synths? Almost looks like a 'Reaktor Lite' or something.... It looks pretty cool, but I hadn't even heard of it before until a few days ago.

I'm specifically thinking about the AudioFire 4. They seem to get good reviews and such, but I don't see too many people talking about them, which makes me think they might not be very popular, which then gets me worried that Echo are not on top of things like drivers updates and stuff...
