Re: Sweep/build-up...more than 8 bars?!
you could also try automating Frequency Shifter, you can create nice Ring modulator build-ups with that. sounds interesting MPGK! could you expand on this a little? Sure, love to. I just put together a few samples, so don't expect great sound, but it's okay for demonstrating purposes, I guess. Don'...

Re: Sample and loop based House Music production techniques
personally, i drag warp markers to get the groove. Yes sidechain works nicely , as does a high pass filter on the sample. Try doubling up the sample on another channel and using a low pass on that to add some of the low end back in nice one cheers! when you say "drag warp markers to get the gr...

Re: arpeggiator timing issues
after a bit more investigation it seems that when i disarm the track the arp holds the notes as it would if the "hold" button was enabled. any idea why this would be?

Re: arpeggiator timing issues
hi christian, thanks for getting back to me. delay compensation is turned on and when i turn it off it alters the pattern in the same way that disarming the track does. i had a quick scan through the manual and it isn't any clearer.
i can upload some audio samples if that would make it clearer?

Re: reverse drum samples

reverse drum samples
hi there, i've created a drum pattern in drum racks and for the last bar in a 16 bar pattern i'd like to alter the pattern slightly and also reverse the drum samples to add some tension before the drop. is this possible within drum racks and how best would i do it? thanks

using my bass guitar as a midi controller
any idea if this is possible? was thinking there might be a max plug or something that would convert notes into midi and let me control vst instruments on the fly.

do you think what he says is true or is it that it's the tool of choice for so many bad minimal techno producers trying to bite his sound?
