probably You installed Live8 beta and its updated the library which is not backward compatible with L7.. (?)
i had the same problem. fortunately i made a backup from the L7 library, so i replaced the preset files with success...

yeah, i'm using a power supply. it makes it maybe a little bit less sensitive, but its almost 100% that it will lose the connection with Live when somebody turns on a smoke machine....

my uc33-e looses the connection often with Live too.. i think its some kind of power problem.. it happens especially on outdoor festivals and in places where are lot of effect machines (laser, smoke machine, strobe...).. i tried everything to fix the problem except an usb hub.. it will be the next t...
