Re: Favourite Max For Live devices
The only problem I have with browsing for devices in MaxForLive.com is that most devices are tagged with more than one category. So for example if I am browsing the "Hardware Control" category I also see all the sequencer devices and not just the devices for controlling external hardware.

Re: iMS20 !!!
the MS20's typical character is for 99% because of its HPF/LPF in series filters, both with independent resonance control.. I don't hear that in any of those demos.. marketing fail or its simply not capable of doing it at all.. Yes it does have HPF/LPF filters in series (with resonance). I have to ...

New name, new tracks, new blog.
No idea how to classify these but I guess there are elements of dubstep, down tempo and psytrance. All done in Live using mostly Native Instruments stuff and a Nord Modular G2.
I'd really appreciate any feedback.
Thanks, grimley.

Just got Maschine. Immediately updated to version 1.1 and now Ableton crashes when loading template (or any other project).

Re: What was your best purchase of 2009
My new crib. 2006 price was $420,000. I gotz it for $180,000. Lovely place near the mountains in sunny Nevada. Live 8 was a good purchase too. Got to revisit this. Same here, just bought a house for 135K in Seattle. 2006 price was $315K. 17K in a refurb loan, tons of heavy work to do, but when I mo...

I have the same problem here. My remote script doesn't work for the LPD8 pads, but the knobs work fine. Can't for the life of me figure it out.

I put this together a couple of years ago using the Doepfer Pocket electronics: http://theerrorist.blogspot.com/2007/12/blog-post.html I have zero experience with electronics and my soldering skills are shit. If you looked inside you would be horrified ... great big blobs of solder and duct tape eve...

Re: Audio glitches when using bank select cursor on APC40
Dedicated ... RME FF800.
Right now, I'm going to have to simplify my live set (bounce VSTis etc) in order to perform live with the APC (which may be a good idea anyway).

Re: Audio glitches when using bank select cursor on APC40
Hi, I don't have any problems using the mouse to scroll around scenes, clips, or even triggering scenes or clips. The glitches only happen when using the APC. Last night I had even worse problems though. The APC40 would occasionally lock up or go dark and I had to turn it off and on again for Live t...

Audio glitches when using bank select cursor on APC40
On a couple of my sets that are sitting around the 30% CPU load mark, when scrolling up, down, left and right using the APC40 bank select cursor I get small dropouts in my audio. Anyone else?

Re: Massive CPU Usage on Live 8
I know this doesn't help but.. My last project before the 10.5.7 update was running at around 45% with spikes at 60% and causing all kinds of dropouts. After the 10.5.7 update it runs smooth at about 40% CPU usage in Live. However, the MBPro (2.33GHZ 3Gb) is significantly hotter and the fans are run...
