Does anybody know if the knobs on the 8 "channel" strips have a dented centre? While it's not such a big big deal, it's one of my pet peves with the x-session. And I'm guessing this definately can't run off bus power? It runs off usb bus power. Really? With 9-12v requirements? I didn't kn...

Razarlame's cool, but if you're looking for more options for tailoring your output filename preferences, try winamp together with the "File Writer Output Plugin" http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=96985

wow, this plug is pretty sweet. But i'm getting pretty confused with how to "sample" the incoming source properly. I'm fiddling with the Input switch with the padlock on it on the bottom left hand corner of the window, sometimes it grabs the previous bar, sometimes it grabs half of the cur...

yup, no probs using it with sp2 as well, although my first unit died and I'm currently using a temporary replacement while my actual unit is being repaired (the adda's died)

Using the 192 buffer setting at 48khz. 128's ok but I had a tiny glitch once and got a little bit paranoid about it.

Sample vinyl and you're done. done what? done sampling  Ok Martin, after you sample the vinyl, are you mixing only between sampled vinyl material? Or will you be also mixing with digitally sourced tracks? There is definately going to be a noticeable difference going between the two. After samp...

Have a read of this, there are some rather interesting facts in here. :) http://www.audioholics.com/techtips/specsformats/LPvsCDformats.php Actual noise floors vs Percieved noise floors seem to influence the apparent dynamic range of the recording. There's no denying that both formats have their ben...

It comes up as USB Audio Device (when clearly it isn't) Anyhow, i've uploaded the drivers I'm using for it http://www.megaupload.com/?d=54HXICTV First Unrar it, then run Setupinf.exe. After that, go to device manager, find USB Audio/Composite Device Right cl...

If you're not concerned so much about super-high accuracy, could you not just set the knob range to a smaller one (ie 0-64) then map the midi range in ableton accordingly? It sure "moves" a hell of a lot quicker that way. Or I could just be talkin senseless crap in my sleep deprived state,...

Hello lonemale! For getting levels more or less close to eachother (to be able to "slam" the faders in at max and not have the next track dropping in way too loud/soft), as I go along picking up tracks, I make them sound more or less as loud as the last (think on a negative scale, lowering...

www.threebeatrecords.co.uk has a massive digital section now. Sadly edmdigital has just closed......that was a great site. :( Damnit, I loved that site, although I stopped frequenting it a couple of months ago. Any ideas what happened? Financial reasons? Customer support, while always friendly, was...

Yeah! Rendering is flawless for me too now :)

Once the start at 1.1.1 is sorted, I'll be very happy.

This blows!

Hey, can 5.0.3 co-exist with 5.0.2? My performance issues totally disappeared with 5.0.3 but I'd still like to be able to switch in light of this.

Thanks :)
