Wow.

That looked sickening. Then exciting. And then I realised it's PC only.

Thanks though. I've avoided going down the 3rd-party app route for this, but am willing to experiment if you know of any mac based solutions?

ok - the simplest way to illustrate - just open an empty set - hit record and then drag a device in with it recording - then hit stop if you do this with a rack... Thanks, do they serve stiff drinks here? Such a huge post... but was there an explanation as to why it is the way it is? The process of just dragging/dropping and manually reorganising seems to do the trick as far as I can tell... so hopefully there's no weird issues later on. Also, some of the slot...

I just work around it and keep wishing... there must be some serious obstacles, because it is such an obviously perfect thing t...

Remapping "Drum Machines" presets

Problem: I've just bought the Drum Machines livepack, and (as already mentioned on this forum) the midi mappings are all very wierd - especially if you use a TriggerFinger or similar Solution: Manually remapping and all the presets in a 4x4 (16 pad) configuration, so the presets make sense with my ...

alternatively, upgrade your computer or if you have limited cpu resources, test-run your set, know your cpu limits, and curb any expensive behaviour before you get on stage

well... I think this would address the problems that are incurred by importing anything pre-mapped. if you could already import pre-mapped material then you could easily end up with a jumble of things mapped to the same cc's, etc by this method you already know that you are importing a preset that i...

thank you. maybe the saving of midi assignments hasn't been implemented yet because of the complexities? or maybe because it makes it far too easy to make a mess, particularly for newbies. I think having the option to deliberately save assignments, especially to presets would avoid the mess, but kee...

Right-click "store preset with midi mappings"

Yep, just that: right click on any plug/device/etc... and find an option that says "store preset with midi mappings" some controllers I use for exactly the same things all the time... but I don't want to have them all loaded in my default template... and I don't want to have to rebuild/remap them ea...
