I use an 828mk3. I'm with mike_o...I love my MOTU interface. The 2 preamps on the 828 have a great sound, and I would assume the 8pre uses the same ones. I've used it with Live 6 and 7 on an Intel Mac with no stability issues.

Perhaps the file is still in .wav format? Convert your rendered wav/aiff to an mp3, and upload THAT to myspace. And be prepared...myspace will compress your mp3 even more, so its not going to sound as pretty when it plays through the myspace player.

I sold mine about a year ago and haven't looked back. Looks like your not really hurting for gear. I'd say get rid of it while there are still people out there who want to buy one.
