How well does Ableton Live interact with Windows touch screen monitors?

Nice tip. Out of curriosity, how long have you been using Reaper? I decided to give it a tenth chance about a year ago and I finally clicked with it. It took a while to set it up how I like it, but after setting it up I have been using it almost as much as Live.

Its ok to use presets and even drum loops.

The Nektar Pacer seems to support Live according to their website. Nektar dont have a logo for Live along with the other daw logos showing support. This is how it is done in live. Maybe put in a feature request to have automatic tempo mapping like Logic and Cubase.
I really hope automatic tempo mapping shows up in this version of live I think it is long over due.

It does sound like a hardware issue. Try using the typing keyboard as a midi keyboard to see if notes drop there also. If your typing keyboard plays fine it could be hardware like Tarekith said. Live also crashes if it scans vst3.
The software is really starting to show its old code base.
Live just wants to take a nap nowadays.

Drag all the clips into arrange and then export.

Personally I dont like to use Live much just because the themes are so goddamn depressing to look at .
