Re: Ableton Live 9. Now the counting begins.
Uh, it will not affect quality but maybe it will improved workflow? Also, 64 bit will make Live a not so hoggy DAW anymore since it can access more RAMs. And no I don't have a shitty computer, I have an i5 with 8 gigs of RAM and I cant freakin use all of its power. Last time, I'm still halfway done,...

October 31st 2011... Could that be it???
 Usually smart companies put gimmicks like sale, free stuff, and etc., to attract costumers before they release the new version of their product. So is Ableton gonna be like this??? Or is this FREE RETRO SYNTH gimmick is just a plain cover up for the delay???(Which I hope wont be the case) So, ...

Re: Eh, Reason 6 Demo can't rewire to Ableton?
It's a pain rewiring Reason 6 in Ableton now. Man, my 65% CPU in Reason is 97% in Live. Can't work with that.

Ableton Live 9. Now the counting begins.
:?: When??????????????????????????????? Let us atleast know, what year. This year? Earlier next year??? WHAT??? I've been a heavy Live user, tried Studio One 2 and I really like the workflow, plus its 64 bit, so it's really a big plus since most of my work now, Live won't cut it unless I freeze stuf...

Re: Will Live 9 gonna be out this/earlier next year?
Very unlikely to be released this year, and probably also not in the next year... i think we might have to wait to 2013, and i think that is being very posistive. I hope you're wrong...lol 2013 that's too much. Sigh, if only some Ableton developers can just give us what year they will release it. T...

Will Live 9 gonna be out this/earlier next year?
Like the title said. I don't know if this question will be answered by Abes developers, but yeah. How's Live 9??? Is it near complete for release??? Live 8 has been pretty stable for me for like a year already. Only downside for my(and to somebody else's) workflow is that it's 32 Bit and it's kinda ...

Have you tried this free VST Editor for Dave Smith's TETRA?
I just saw this added 3 hours ago. I already installed it now in Ableton, it really looks good, I actually like GUI of it than the soundtower editor one. But the problem is that, my Tetra will arrive tomorrow, so I don't have one to try this out. Can you guys try it please!!! And report it back. Jus...

Re: Using analog synth in Live. How do you make beats with it?
There is a plug-in in Live called "external instrument" which lets you use MIDI clips but get back the audio from the synth via your soundcard's input on the one track you could use 4 of them on the one track by using a rack or drum rack EDIT; 2 people replied before I hit send! I agree w...

Re: Using analog synth in Live. How do you make beats with it?
it depends on if the synth is multi timbral or not.. the Moog isn't, the Prophet I don't know.. still I would prefer to record the different drum sounds first and then play them in a sampler.. Hi! So let's say I have a DSI Tetra, it is a 4 part multi-timbral synth. Can I use 4 independent Polyphnic...

Using analog synth in Live. How do you make beats with it?
So we know most of you uses MIDI-out in Ableton for your synths. So let's say you just use 1 synth say a Prophet 08 or a Moog Voyager, how do you make your beats using only one synth? Can you stack 4 midi-tracks playing at the same time with their own patch that you've created on that single synth? ...
